The 1985 Chicago Bears are considered one of the greatest teams in NFL history. Coached by Mike Ditka and anchored by a ferocious defense led by Hall of Famer Mike Singletary, they steamrolled through the regular season with a 15-1 record and capped their run with a dominant Super Bowl XX victory over the New England Patriots. While they were near-perfect and incredibly memorable—complete with the iconic 'Super Bowl Shuffle'—they did lose one regular season game to the Miami Dolphins. Thus, they fall just short of a perfect record. That honor belongs to a different Dolphins team, one that went fully undefeated through the season and playoffs.
